1. The "Portfolio Over College Name" Rule
Unlike traditional fields, design operates strictly on proof of skill. A student from a local college with an exceptional Behance portfolio, working Figma prototypes, and real client projects will easily beat a lazy NID graduate. Your portfolio is your currency.
2. The Constant Tool Churn
Design tools change incredibly fast. Over the past decade, the industry moved from Photoshop to Illustrator, to Sketch, to Figma, and now to automated AI tools. If you hate learning new software every 18 months, design will feel exhausting.
